For our Grant Writing and Other Services, we believe it’s important to clearly explain how it works to make it as easy and efficient as possible, and to avoid any surprises.
Grant Writing and Other Services is a simple 5-step process with Thinkgrants:
1: Needs Assessment
We’ll email you a short questionnaire to find out your exact needs. For example:
- What do you need assistance with? e.g. Writing an LOI, writing an application, building a budget etc.
- Size of the project
- Your deadline
We’ll also request that you send us examples (if available) of:
- Recent grant applications you have sent out
- Link to your website
- Budget and financial audits
2: Working Agreement
Once you send the completed questionnaire back to us we will then send you a working agreement which will include details of:
- The project costs
- A description of the work that will be completed
- The deadline we will send you the final work by
You will then sign the agreement and send it back to us.
3: Making the Payment
We will then send you a link to make the payment. Once your payment has been made and processed we’ll get straight to work!
4: Writing and Review
We’ll work on all aspects of the application as set out in the working agreement, while adding original material, data, statistics, quotes, pictures, graphs and conducting research, as necessary.
Once it’s ready we will send you a first draft.
You will then review it and add comments/notes as necessary and send it back to us.
We will send you the final version with all edits incorporated.
There will only be one review round for edits.
Responsibility for sending the final version of the application to the grant-making organization will be yours, so please keep track of the deadline. This will ensure that you are the point of contact for the grant-making organization.
